Autograph letter signed : the Hague, to Pierre Maupertuis, 1751 June 26.

Sending a copy of Leibniz's letter that Koenig had quoted in his paper on the principle of least action in Acta Eruditorum. Mentioning that he obtained the letter from Mr. Henzy who was decapitated at Bern two years ago. Commenting upon Albrecht Haller and discussing several large new telescopes which were being built. With a postscript informing Maupertuis of several misprints of his paper in the Acta.
